Russian River

Our Alexander Valley RV Campground is scheduled to open March 8th, 2014. In the midsts of a severe drought, we are all looking for the rains to come in the following weeks to heal the land and refresh the Russian River.

We look forward to seeing you all there during the 2014 season for water fun and family adventures!

Do you know how to say “Russian River” in Southern Pomo?

American Indian Chamber of CommerceFri. Dec. 15th 2013 – Northern Cal Chapter – Holiday Luncheon With Chamber Tribal Enterprise & Business Member Workshop with 2 Boeing Presenters & Advisory Council Strategic Retreat Meeting

We had the pleasure of hosting a fabulous luncheon and visit with the American Indian Chamber of Commerce. What an amazing day! We learned so much together and enjoyed the chance to hear about how other Tribal communities are working with companies like Boeing.

After robust conversation, we all had the chance to say a prayer together and enjoy an amazing meal. The Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians sends a big Thank you to Tracy Stanhoff and the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of California for their visit. Check out their website and their Facebook page.

Pomo Ridge Meats 3Nov. 19th 2013 – Diversification is the name of the game when it comes to Pomo Ridge Distribution, LLC, The Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians distribution company. We recently added a fantastic new product line of incredibly tasty meats. Having scoured around for the very best, we sourced some of the most choice USDA meat available and are extremely proud to offer it now as a part of our portfolio of distributed products.

On Nov. 19th 2013, we held a tasting for our Elders, The Gaming Commision, The Board of Directors for RRC and the Tribal Council with the various proteins we will be offering and it was unanimously declared that we indeed have procured some remarkably flavorful meats that will be enjoyed by the DCR and Pomo Ridge Distribution, LLC clients!

petaluma-3dFriday Nov. 15 2013 – Our 277-acre parcel of land south of Petaluma has been a hot topic of interest in the news and in the Tribal community. Our plans for the land include a 60-room hotel that will accommodate visitors with a half-dozen sports fields along with tribal housing, restaurant, gas station, medical clinic and a fire station.

The River Rock Casino will continue to be our main priority, ensuring its viability for the future. RRC needs to be further developed and it’s definitely number one on our agenda.

There is no projection at this time to build another casino in Petaluma — only to continue to develop River Rock Casino and the Dry Creek Rancheria.

The Nov. 9th – 2013 DCR Election results are posted below.

Authority Board – Sal Silva Jr.

pomoridge2Mission Statement

Our goal is to provide revenue to Dry Creek Rancheria through distribution rights of quality product that is either owned currently by various Dry Creek Rancheria enterprises, create new products for distribution, or acquire distribution rights on existing product lines and distribute these products locally in a profitable manner.

First and foremost it must  be determined if distribution rights on any particular product that is being considered for such distribution rights meets the requirements and needs of Dry Creek Rancheria and its Board of Directors in the furtherance of providing revenue to the tribe and does not distract from its image to the public.

Once it has been established that a potential distribution of a specific line of products meets that criteria, the Director of Pomo Ridge Distribution, LLC shall explore and interview with prospective candidates to determine the next step to proceed in doing due diligence on the product line.

Pomo Ridge Distribution, LLC is seeking additional product lines to match our business model in selling quality branded lines to our existing client base.  Because we are a Native American owned business, we are fortunate to have “Tribe to Tribe” distribution capabilities to over 550 federally recognized Tribes and their other enterprises, whether they be casinos or other retail investments, that hardly any other distributor would have access to. Additionally, we are considered by the federal government to be a “minority” business therefore giving us another unique position in selling to the federal government because the federal government must buy from minority businesses for all the military bases for Officers Clubs, PX and other retail operations on site.
